Join the Winnetka Fire Department In Their Commitment to Keep The Wreath Red Campaign

Throughout the month of December, a symbolic wreath will be displayed outside the fire station, serving as a visual reminder to prioritize safety. At the start of the month, all lights on the wreath will be shining bright in red. However, every time our dedicated firefighters respond to a fire caused by holiday decorations, they will replace one red lightbulb with a white one.We need your support to ensure that the wreath stays red this year. By following safety precautions and taking steps to create a safe holiday season, we can prevent fires and protect our community.

Let's work together to keep the wreath red and make this holiday season a safe and joyful one for everyone.

A Reminder from the Police 📦Department: Safeguard Your Deliveries During the Holiday Season

During the holiday season, there's a noticeable uptick in package deliveries, and consequently, a rise in the theft of these parcels. The police department advises everyone to remain vigilant to protect their deliveries. Although home surveillance systems can help deter thieves, it's best to minimize the duration packages are left unattended. If possible, coordinate to have someone you trust collect your parcels if you're not available, or try to be home during the expected delivery times. Stay safe and protect your deliveries this festive season.
